Health & Safety

POLICY STATEMENT

Tenet believes that the Health and Safety of its employee’s, subcontractors, visitors and the general public is of vital importance and good practices are to the benefit of everyone involved. To this end Tenet shall:

  • provide such information, instruction and supervision as is necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of employees, subcontractors, visitors and the general public.
  • ensure all relevant legislation is adhered to.
  • maintain any place of work under Tenet’s control in a condition that is safe and without risks to health and is adequate as regards facilities and arrangements for their welfare at work.
  • maintain a safe means of access to, egress from with safe access routes within any place of work under the control of Tenet ensuring that they are safe and without such risks.
  • provide such protective equipment as is necessary for the health and safety at work of employees.
  • encourage staff to set high standards of health and safety by personal example.
  • monitor the effectiveness of health and safety provisions within the company, via monthly meetings.
  • provide training where any need is identified. keep the Tenet Health and Safety Policy under regular review and to duly publish any amendments.
  • arrangements for health and safety are available to all, are clearly understood and adhered to.

Each employee has a duty to co-operate by:

  • Using protective equipment provided.
  • Adhering to company rules.
  • Reporting incidents or hazards which could lead to injury or damage.
  • Advising others, should they be working in an unsafe manner.
